What is Purova made of?
Purova Classic is erythritol and monk fruit. Purova Amber is allulose and monk fruit. Two ingredients each, and the full label is on every product page.
Classic or Amber: what's the difference?
The second ingredient. Classic uses erythritol and is made for chai, coffee and everyday drinks. Amber uses allulose, which browns and caramelises like sugar, so it suits mithai, desserts and baking, and it sweetens your chai too. See the comparison.
How much should I use instead of sugar?
Both are made to taste and use like sugar. Swap Purova in where you'd use sugar, then adjust to taste.
Is Purova suitable for people with diabetes or other health conditions?
Purova is not for medicinal use, and we don't make medical claims. Children, pregnant and lactating women, and people with any medical condition should consult a dietician before consuming it.
Why does Classic say “Polyols may have laxative effects”?
Erythritol is a polyol. Indian labelling rules require this statement on foods with 10% or more polyols. Eating large amounts may upset your stomach, so start small.
Is shipping free? Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
Shipping is free. Purova Classic ships now and you can pay online or choose Cash on Delivery. Purova Amber is open for pre-order, ships 26-27 October 2026 and is prepaid online only. Please order Classic and Amber separately.
Can I cook and bake with Purova?
Yes. Amber browns and caramelises like sugar, so it's the one for mithai, halwa, cakes and brownies. Classic is made for your everyday drinks.
How should I store it, and how long does it last?
Store in a cool, dry and hygienic place, away from direct sunlight, and always use a dry spoon. Best before 24 months from the date of manufacture.
How long will delivery take?
We ship across India through our courier partners. Purova Classic ships now. Purova Amber is on pre-order and will be dispatched on 26-27 October 2026. Delivery time depends on your pincode; you'll see an estimate at checkout and get tracking details by SMS and email once your order ships.

Can I return or exchange a product?
Because Purova is a food product, we can't accept returns of opened packs. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or past its best-before date, write to us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we'll replace it or refund you. See our refund policy.
